CHHP ED Department Expansion

 

To accommodate the increased demand for urgent and emergent care, CHHP expanded the Emergency Department to receive paramedic traffic.  This expansion features additional eight additional treatment bays. This is an important advancement for this community as local residents requiring 911 services can be treated at CHHP rather than traveling to neighboring communities more than 5 miles away.  Prompt access to care is an important factor in successful emergency care outcomes. 

“This expansion will improve access to critical emergency health needs for the community of Huntington Park and surrounding areas,” said Hector Hernandez, CEO of the Hospital.  “Area physicians and residents approached us to help expand emergency room access for the community. Today, that vision is realized.”

So if you have a medical emergency don’t hesitate to come to our Emergency Department for prompt and efficient care.  If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.

Avanti Hospitals celebrate Family Health Week Oct. 29-Nov. 2nd, 2012

East Lost Angeles Doctors Hospital’s celebrates its 4th annual Family Health Week with free health information and flu shots, activities and gifts for the families in the community. Workshops include health and fitness, nutrition and pediatric emergencies. On Wednesday, October 31st at 2:30PM there will be a Halloween Pumpkin Patch Festival with a children's costume contest, amusements and gift bags.
